Stacey Stratton, A SCORE client has been honored as the Emerging Business Woman of the Year by the Minnesota chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners. Stacey, president of True Talent Group, received the award at a NAWBO luncheon last Thursday at the Graves 601 Hotel.
True Talent Group places mid- and executive-level marketing and creative professionals in temporary and permanent positions. The firm completed its third year in business this August.
Greg Boettner, SCORE Mentor, has mentored Stacey and her business since its inception and attended the awards luncheon at Stacey’s invitation. Congratulations to Stacey and to mentor Greg.

Several years ago, Stacey represented me through a different freelance agency. She was so passionate about the job and her personality was always inspiring, which made it a great joy to work with her.
Around the same time she launched True Talent, I moved out to California to launch my own business.
Over the years, I’ve been keeping track of her company’s growth and it’s wonderful to see her achieving this level of success! Well done, Stacey, and kudos to SCORE for recognizing and rewarding her hard work!
